The Aerobie SUPERDISC flying saucer flies straight and accurately thanks to the improved rim design (spoiler rim). This design tweak keeps the lift force on the centre of the flying saucer throughout the flight, which greatly aids flight stability. Because the rim of the flying saucer is made of durable soft rubber, it grips well even at higher speeds and bounces easily off any obstacles without damage. Even after many landings on hard surfaces, the edge of the Aerobie Superdisc flying saucer is smooth and comfortable in the hand. A regular flying saucer has scratches and sometimes sharp indentations on the edges after a few landings on the pavement. The Superdisc flying saucer has soft, non-slip grips on the inside of the grip, so it sits firmly in the hand when thrown.
