Inventor Alan Adler drew on his research and teaching at Stanford, Princeton and NASA to develop them, with a focus on precision, stability and aerodynamics. Even when thrown with little effort, the Aerobie rings fly over great distances due to minimal air resistance and land precisely. Rounded, soft edges make catching easier.
