How it works:
- The SEEMEE R300, equipped with the latest ANT+ radar technology, is not just a rear light. It is an active safety device that uses radar to detect vehicles approaching from behind at up to 140 metres, tracking them as they move at speeds from 5 to 100 km/h, and warns them of your presence on the road with a 300-lumen flash.
- Connected to a bike computer (that supports the R300 light software), this innovative rear light visually shows on the screen how far behind you another vehicle is.
This active monitoring greatly reduces the risk of a rear-end collision, whether from fast-moving vehicles, e-bikes or stray cyclists, so you can ride with peace of mind.
Pairing with a bike computer:
- Turn on the SEEMEE R300 and enable the radar function.
- Turn on the bike computer and go to Menu > Sensors > Add Sensors > Radar > Search All.
- Select SEEMEE R300 (random number) and tap "Add".
- Once the sensors are paired successfully, it will show that "Radar" and "Lights" are connected.
- * Place the bike computer and rear light within 3 metres. During pairing, keep 10 metres away from other ANT+ sensors.
Radar display on the bike computer:
- The vehicle position moves up as a bar as the vehicle approaches your bike. The threat level changes colour according to the potential threat.
- Green means no vehicle detected. Orange means a vehicle is approaching. Red means a vehicle is approaching at high speed.
- If the bike computer is set to give an audible or vibration alert, it will sound when it detects the first vehicle. Once the threat clears and a new approaching vehicle is detected, the computer will sound the alert again.
Customise the radar alert settings to suit you:
- Turn on the bike computer, select Menu > Sensors > Radar (matching number) > Sensor Details > Alert Settings.
- Choose an option.
