The Morakniv Bushcraft orange stainless steel is a solid outdoor knife, equipped with a Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade, a comfortable profiled handle and a polymer sheath with a clip.
Tool for field work
Bushcraft Bushcraft is a camp knife with a fixed blade (hidden-tang), 2.5 mm thick and 109 mm long, which allows you to perform most of the tasks that we can face during a trip, fishing or camping.
Swedish stainless steel
The knife head is made of the valued Sandvik 12C27 steel, which, thanks to liquid nitrogen hardening at a temperature of -80 °, achieves a hardness of HRC 57-58 on the Rockwell scale.
Swedish stainless steel is characterized by a low level of contamination, high resistance to corrosion and chipping. Thanks to the fine structure of the carbides, the blade provides an aggressive and smooth cut and good sharpness.
Unlike carbon steel, stainless steel is virtually maintenance-free and requires no maintenance, except when wiped dry after washing or using in a humid environment.
Precise grinding
The knife uses a modified Scandinavian cut, lowering from the middle of the blade. As a result, the cutting edge has two cutting zones: for hard and precise work. The blade is tapered at halfway, creating a strong and sharp point with good penetration.
The flat back of the blade has a sharp edge designed to work with the flint.
Comfortable handle
The handle of the knife is made of soft TPE rubber with a non-slip texture. The grip is anatomically shaped with a distinct finger cut and a small cross to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade.
The handle and sheath have a bright orange color, which makes it easy to locate the knife among grass and stones.
Safe handling
For carrying Morakniv Bushcraft, we get a polymer sheath with an open design. The detachable clip allows you to carry the knife at the belt or attach it to a backpack or bag with straps.
