The knife sheath is made of bright red plastic, which makes it visible and easy to find. The blade of the knife is made of Sandvick 12C27 stainless steel and the serrated blade of the knife will efficiently handle cutting belts or clothes. In addition, the tip of the knife has been rounded so that the risk of injury to the rescued person has been reduced.

The handle of the Mora Companion Rescue knife is made of plastic and covered with rubber, thanks to which the knife lies firmly in the hand, even when used with gloves.
