Knife with compass on transparent plastic base. Together with the map, the buzzer helps with correct navigation and orientation in the terrain. On the base of the compass there is a rotating wheel with luminescent points marking the cardinal and meridian lines. The balanced metal arrow is in a liquid capsule and points to the north magnetic pole of the Earth. The base plate also contains a magnifying lens, holes for plotting controls and a scale in millimetres.
