Modern Azimut bicycles are made from reliable, quality components that help ensure the bike's stability and performance in any season. The AZIMUT Retro is a simple and reliable city-type bicycle with 26" wheels and a stylish Retro-style frame. It is designed for riding in the city and countryside, on paved or firm gravel roads. It is an ideal choice for those who love traditional single-speed city bikes. Thanks to the city-style frame geometry and curved handlebars, you can ride in a relaxed style, sitting almost upright. It comes standard with mudguards that protect against water and dirt. To keep your clothes clean while pedalling and prevent them from getting caught between the chain and sprocket, there is also a chain guard. Lighting is of course taken care of too - the set includes front and rear lamps that run on batteries and can be switched on and off. To lean the bike, you won't need to look for a post, wall or fence - just fold out the kickstand. The bike also has a rear rack that carries up to 6 kg. It features a soft, wide saddle with springs, non-slip plastic pedals, and 47 mm-wide city tyres with a universal tread pattern. You stop the bike using the front brakes - by pressing the brake lever on the handlebars - or the rear coaster brake by pedalling backwards. You can individually adjust the height/position of the saddle and handlebars to suit your needs. It is an optimal choice for cyclists up to about 170 cm tall. We recommend also getting a front basket!
