Stainless steel anchor point pair. Suitable for independent fixing to concrete, stone, timber and many other materials. A good way to fix a hammock e.g. on a balcony, in the living room, bedroom, etc.

For fixing you will need:
1 x drill
1 x 12mm drill bit
1 x 13mm wrench
1 x hammer
Installation on a wooden element:
If you want to install the anchor point in a wooden element, then fix the screws directly to the wood without a probe, as long as the element you are anchoring to is strong enough and suitable for drilling. Pre-drill a hole for the bolt using a 6mm blade.
1) Try to find the correct distance between the two walls, usually a distance of 2.7 - 3 m is perfect without additional ropes.
2) Check the wall carefully, e.g. by tapping, and make sure that the wall is solid enough and not just a hollow thin layer of plywood.
3) Choose any height (minimum 1.3 m) according to the distance between the walls. Install the anchor points higher if the walls are more than 3m apart, otherwise you will not be able to install your hammock at a 30° angle or the hammock will hit the floor.
4) Drill a hole in the concrete or stone wall with a 10 mm (3/8") drill bit. Check the length with the bolt supplied with the kit. Clean the hole with a brush or vacuum for dust.
5) First carefully insert the probe into the hole
6) Install the mounting link and washer on the bolt, and screw the bolt firmly into the wall.
7) Attach the rope or tie-down straps to the mounting loop and you can use your hammock as normal. Do not attach the aluminium carabiner directly to the stainless steel hanger as this may damage the carabiner. Start by carefully sitting on the hammock to see if the fasteners are securely installed.
For slab, brick or concrete walls, drill a hole to a depth of 80 mm using a 10 mm drill bit. Push the probe all the way into the hole. Screw the bolt into the probe as far as it will go.
When fixing to a wooden element, make sure that the element is large enough to withstand the drilling. The hole is drilled to a depth of 70 mm with a 6 mm blade. Screw the bolt directly into the hole as far as it will go (without the probe).
TIP: If necessary, extend with rope to hold the hammock in place. Always make sure that the two ends of the hammock are at the same height.
WARNING: Incorrect installation can lead to risk of injury. Ensure that all work is carried out by a person qualified for this type of work. Check the anchor point at regular intervals for excessive wear and tear, especially stress cracks, and replace if necessary. These anchors are not suitable for roofs.
